Which hair dye is the best: Special Effects, Manic Panic, or Punky Color?

I hope there's something better than manic panic, because I dyed my hair blue last week and it's already turning teal (I bleached it too).

I've dyed my hair many times in many colors and although I've been happy with most dye, some brands definitely last longer than others. Punky Color and Manic Panic both create beautiful color, but they fade quickly. My favorite brands for more permanent color are Special Effects and another brand called Directions. Good luck!

manic panic is the best-you just need to add a lot of the blue to the spot/part you want it at.

After Midnight Blue, I'm guessing. Same thing happened to me. (Ultra Violet on the other hand was and stayed a pretty shade of blue under many lighting conditions - lol)

Haven't tried the other products you mentioned, but in my experience with a couple of shades La Riche Directions lasts longer and fades without changing tone as much as Manic Panic does.
