Need advice on temporary hair color?

I'm thinking about dying my entire head of hair electric blue for Halloween but don't know how to do it right. I don't want the color to last longer than a few days at the very most. Can anyone suggest a product they think will work? Thanks!

Temp. hair color does not last long. It will last a week at the most. It depends how often you wash your hair and what your hair color is now.

Yeah I dyed my hair red last year try this stuff from walgreens. I don't remember what it's called but it's in a small box with orange wrapper on it and has a picture of a girl on it (cartonish) They have all different colors including blue and it washes out in like 7 washes so if you really don't like it, you can just keep washing it.

try ICE hair styling glue in blue. you can get it at supercuts for like under $5.

its very visible in dark hair color, and it comes of when you shower. i've used it before, no hassle at all and it was fun.

try this line called Adore, they have really funk colors.

try some Schwarzkopf live electric blue it washes out in 8 washes and is around (AD$4) Have fun =]

I would recommend color hair spray. The sell it at Halloween stores and drugstores. Some are at sally's but ask for help if you go there. A lot of their products add a tint or look really wet and greasy. In order to get your hair electric blue, you would have to do serious bleaching then dye it a couple times and it would have to be redone regularly. I have had every color of the rainbow and am partial to pink highlights in my own hair, so I know what I'm talking about. For your situation a wash out blue hairspray is the best bet and cheapest alternative. It requires no bleaching or commitment. I recommend looking at Halloween/party stores first. They have better prices and selection.

I WOULD USE THE TYPE OF DYE IN A FORM OF A HAIRSPRAY. IF YOU USE A TEMP DYE AND YOU'RE HAIR IS ALREADY DRY AND DAMAGED FROM DYEING, PERMING, BLOW DRYING, STRAIGHTENING ETC. THEN THEY TEMP MAY LAST LONER THAN INTENDED. MY COUSIN DID THIS TO HER HAIR AND ALL THE COLOR, PERMING, DRYING STRAIGHTNING THAT SHE DID DRIED HER HAIR AND DAMAGED BADLY, AND WHEN SHE DYED HER HAIR THE DYE STAYED LONGER SHE INTENDED. IF I WERE YOU I'D USE THE TEMP DYE IN A CAN! HOPE THIS HELPS.
