Makeup and hair for a dark green dress.?

I've bought this simple dark green(kind of more dark green/blue. but not torquise) dress for the casual christmas dinners. It has a round neck, shows just a little cleevage, stops right over the knees, and has a waistbelt in the same colour (Thinking of changing this with one more glamorous if we are going out or something). The style I'm going for is kind of a modern 50's-60's.

But how should I do my makeup?? My skintone is fair and neutral, golden blonde hair, green/blue eyes.

My hair is just below my shoulders and I don't know what to do with it. I don't like all fancy updoes.

Use a little black eye liner. Then apply that liquidy-gooey eye shadow in sparkly gold. Use a light pink or just clear lip gloss. Now with the hair... Put it in an upside down waterfall with some hair left in front. Check out pics of Aly and AJ (yeah, I know) and look how Aly has her hair in the front (when it's up in the back)

you could do big curls.. something subtile but very cute.. and the make up a black eyeline or brown which ever fits. then a green eye.. not to much and gold on the insides.. it will help bring out your eyes.

wear smokey colors-you are probably going to wear black shoes, so you can do a somkey gray eyeshadow with a black eyeliner. highlight the brow bone with a soft whitish color. hair-do curls...like soft curly tresses
