try a chignon at the back, tight curls on the top, or if you cant do a chignon at the back, do a pony-tail, to do tight curls on top twirl a strand of hair round your finger an hold with a hair clip, do this all round the front of your head, and spray with hair lacquer and leave to set.

I think i know the type of look you are try to achieve, i think i saw this done on a tv programme months ago. Make sure your hair isn't too clean maybe wash it the day before then put it into a high pony tail ,with a nude colour hair band then curl your hair with tongs and put in some grips to keep them in place.
