If a Black Woman and a White Man Have a Child Together What are the Chances of the Baby Having Blue

The black woman has wheatish colored skin, almost like an east indian with dark black eyes and has indian on her father's side of the family.

While the White Man is extremely Germanic in his features. Very Pale, light Brown Hair with Blue Eyes. If the two were two have a child together what would his/her complexion probably look like. Considering that they black woman has a tan like brown color that is somewhat reddish and east indian features.

If a Black Woman and a White Man Have a Child Together What are the Chances of the Baby Having Blue Eyes?

Probably 10-20%. Brown is dominant. Theres also the possibility of green eyes. (I am not referring to newborn in my answer, but long term blue eyes).

I think the the child would only come out with blue eyes if the mother also carries that recessive gene, however I believe that is only a 25 % outcome. I'm in the same boat, my husband has blue eyes and brown hair and I am a black female. Guess we'll see when it comes!

I'm not sure but that sounds like a beautiful baby to me! I have seen "mixed" kids with blue eyes, and they are gorgeous!

If a Black Woman and a White Man Have a Child Together What are the Chances of the Baby Having Blue Eyes?

Unlikely. While most babies are born with blue eyes, not all are. Unless the woman has a parent with blue eyes, she likely has the BB brown eye dominant genes and he has the bb recessive blue eye genes. All of their children would have the Bb genes which means they would all have brown eyes but could have blue-eyed children. So this couple could have blue-eyed grandchildren, but not children.

As for skin color, the child would be born pale and darken over the first couple of weeks. He/she would likely end up medium-skinned, depending on his/her exposure to sun %26amp; sunblock usage.

50/50 My husband has a dark complexion and dark brown almost black eyes(so does his parents, grandparents etc). I have a pale complexion and blue eyes(my mum had brown and my dad blue) and of our 5 children 4 are blue and 1 has hazel. Go figure!

To really answer this question thoroughly we'd need to know what color eyes the GRANDPARENTS have: that would help determine the recessive genes that might emerge in a newborn.

Very slim. Brown eyes are dominant.

My dad has blue eyes and none of his children have them. Even though we look identical to him, we still got brown eyes.

Same with my boyfriend, his dad has blue eyes and none of his kids have them.
