Black African Hair: Hair colour Pink?

I really want to dye my hair pink. I'm a light brown girl (I'm black) and I don't know if it is a great idea if I should do this cause I'm black. I see lots of black girls have pink highlights and I think it is real pretty and hott but I kinda wanna dye my whole hair pink. Is it a good idea? I dyed my hair red highlights, blue (dark blue or whatever that colour) highlights and I might get blonde highlights (something like that) but I really want to know if pink hair does look good on black girls. Try to find me a picture of a black girl with pink hair. Thanks!

I think the pink highlights would look better than dying your entire head of hair. Think about when it starts to grow back in, it might not look too hot. Or like the other person said, try on a wig. It couldn't hurt.

Pink Hair is Great, but it is a very high maintenance color . You will need to refresh the color often for it to look vibrant.

If you apply the pink over darker hair, you will not see the pink, you will need to pre-lighten your hair several shades (Note: You didn't mention whether your hair has relaxer on it, if you do I would NOT recommend you bleaching your hair..Can you say chemical haircut!!) Have a licensed professional do your bleaching

I could not find any pics of African Americans with pink hair but if you google Eve the rapper I'm sure she had a pink wig on in some pic.
