I am trying to find out what hair color would look best for me. I colored my hair a really dark brown, almost black, and alot of people have told me it makes me look pale. I have really light skin and blue eyes. My hair is really thick, long, and wavy. What should I do?

How odd. I am the exact same way. I have very pale skin and dark blue eyes, and my natural hair color is dark dark brown. Well, i think a cute messy bun after you get out of the shower is always cute for anyone, or you could curl it loosely and then but in a side pny with a cute headband to match your look, or you could put half up half down and thats always cute or even a cute little sparkly barrette is cute o and you can even make them go to a craft store get barettes and rhinestones and a glue gun and glue the rhinestones to the barette and waalaa perfect and beautiful.........i hope i helped.....Goodluck

the thing that works for me is getting my hair thinned out, cut at shoulder length into layers(long enough to pull up in a ponytail), and you can straighten it. but make sure that you have something to put on it for the frizz when you wear it natural.

I want to dye my hair, but I'm not sure how. There's always my tips, but so many people have dyed tips (but I still might get them if nothing better comes up). I think you should bleach the underneath layer of your fringe or maybe get a colour underneath? it would look really good because your fringe is choppy. You could extend this to all of the front layers of your hair underneath.

I've dyed random bits of my hair almost every colour now!

I think you could get slices of random bright colours, think the rainbow. That would look immense, or like bright highlights all next to each other (rather than all around your head) that would be different.

Or you could like have one colour like pink for instance that fades into another like purple that would look really good too i did that on my fringe once! lepoard spots would look great too.

My best friend is one of four girls and one boy. Their mother and father are black. My best friend is quite dark with brown eyes, her younger sister is light skinned with green eyes. The younger one is dark and has brown eyes, the youngest is light skinned and has blue eyes. The boy has light skin and brown eyes. All from the same parents....so in answer to your question you do see Asians and Africans with these features.

Centuries ago European (white) people traveled more and further than most (I said most) American Indians, Africans, Asians. Now days you will see more of a mixture. Take me for example. I am French, Irish, American Indian. I am light complected, dark auburn hair, and very dark brown eyes. When I was a little girl, I ask my aunt of the same blood line, who was dark complected, blue eyes and very dark black hair, pretty much the same question as yours. Her answer was: Dark is dominate, but a mixed race will have a touch of each race. If you mix dark chocolate with white milk you will get a light brown, depends on how much milk you add on how light of a brown you will get. Her answer made sense to me :)

Because that's just how God wanted things. Why don't you think about things for a minute. If God made us all the exact same race and the exact same way this world wouldn't be the interesting and unique world it is. We are all who we are. There should be no explanation for how different we look. Besides, nobody can give you a best answer for this. It's just one of those things that just is. And, I hate to tell you this sweetie, but black people can have red hair, and brown hair as well. Black people can also have blue and green eyes. I'm a black females and I have a few people in my family that have green eyes. I have one cousin that has blue eyes and yes she's black. Black people are mixed up with everything so there should be no surprise that black people have colored eyes as well. Maybe you need to get out more because if you do, you will see a lot of what I'm talking about. There is nothing wrong with you asking this question. I just think that we all are beautiful because we don't all look the same.

browns are really hot this season, and with your eye color, dark hair will make them pop.

i would suggest a nice, rich brown, with different tones of brown. one solid color is boring, but if you introduce a few different tones within the same color family, it will look very natural.

highlightes are over-rated, and we've been doing them for so long, nobody knows what else to do. don't get me wrong, dimension and multi-tonal hair is DEFINETLY a good thing, but as for actual highlightes? its kind of over. go to a Paul Mitchell salon if you have one around your area, tell them you want a block color (its a techinque we use to create dimension without highlighting...its pretty cool), you want a multi-tonal level 5 brown that will suit your skin and eye color. they'll know exactly what to do.

Go for a light brown. My natural hair color is dark brown %26amp; I went to a honey blonde for about a year %26amp; didn't realize how "washed out" my face looked until I went darker. Now, with the light brown, it's still lighter than my natural color, but, still dark enough to make my blue eyes "pop"

It wont fall out, but I'm sure you will get some breakage. Bleach is not a color like so many think, it is a decolorizer (meaning it takes the color out of your hair) It is more damaging to bleach your hair over coloring. If you want to keep your hair in its healthy state you really need to invest in some good moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner.
